Using the button

There is one button, and everything you can do with the sensor by hand goes through it.

Switch it on

A single short press. The light breathes red while the sensor starts up, then blinks red: it is recording.

Switch between recording and sync

While it is on, a short press switches between recording (blinking red) and sync mode (pulsing blue). After your session, one short press stops the recording and gets the sensor ready for the app. Another short press starts a new recording.

Shut it down

Hold the button until the light goes out, then let go. The sensor saves its data and switches off, so use it before travelling or storing the sensor for a while.

If it stops responding

Put the sensor on the charging dock for a few minutes and try the button again. Charging power alone will bring back a sensor that has run itself completely flat, which is by far the most common cause of a button that appears dead.
