Questions
Which watersports does SANDIT Sensor track?
Kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing and surfing, with more sports planned. Every session gets speed, distance, session time and a route map, plus metrics specific to the sport you rode.
Can one tracker really cover kitesurfing and surfing?
Yes, as long as it measures motion as well as position. GPS alone gives speed and a route. Add 9-axis motion sensing and one sensor can pick out kite jumps, foiling time and jibes, planing, and waves.
How long does the battery last?
8+ hours, enough for multiple sessions before it goes back on the wireless dock.
Is it waterproof in salt water?
Yes. SANDIT Sensor is fully waterproof, with a sealed, corrosion-free design built for salt water, sand and crashes. A quick fresh-water rinse after each salt-water session keeps salt from building up.
How much does SANDIT Sensor cost?
The hardware is included with the app subscription. The first 1,000 founders lock in €6,99 a month for life, billed yearly; the public price will be €8,99. Nothing is charged until it ships, expected Q4 2026.
