App & Sync
How syncing works
The sensor records everything on its own. Your phone stays on the beach, and the session moves across afterwards.
The sequence
- You stop the recording. The session is stored in the sensor's own memory.
- You open the app with the sensor nearby and awake.
- The sensor's light turns blue while the two are connected, and the session transfers over Bluetooth.
- The app processes the session and it appears in your feed with route, speed, distance and sport metrics.
How long it takes
Usually seconds, sometimes a couple of minutes. A long session carries more data, so give it time. Keep the app in the foreground and the sensor within a metre or two while the transfer runs.
Nothing is lost if you wait
Sessions stay on the sensor until they have transferred successfully. You can ride all weekend, sync on Sunday evening, and everything comes across. There is no need to sync between sessions.
Sync starting and then stalling? See a session is missing from the app.
