DELETE ACCOUNT
This page explains how to delete your account and associated data for the SANDIT mobile app by Arjodima Holding B.V. (Netherlands).
How to delete your account
Option A: Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open the SANDIT app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Delete account and confirm.
If you don’t see the option, please make sure you’re using the latest app version.
Option B: Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us at crew@sandit.club with the subject “Account deletion request” and include:
- The email address used for your SANDIT account
- Your username (if you know it)
- Any relevant details to help us locate your account (optional)
What data will be deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we delete your account and associated personal data, including:
- Account & profile data (e.g., email, username, profile photo)
- Session history including GPS routes/tracks, timestamps, and performance metrics
- Sensor/performance data collected via the app and/or connected SANDIT device (e.g., acceleration/G-force and gyroscopic data used to compute metrics)
- User-generated content (e.g., uploaded photos, descriptions, comments) tied to your account
- Social visibility (e.g., removal from community feeds/leaderboards where applicable)
What data may be retained
We may retain limited information when necessary for legal obligations or legitimate purposes, such as:
- Records required by law (e.g., tax/accounting obligations if you made a purchase)
- Security and abuse-prevention logs for a limited period
- Backups that are overwritten on a rolling basis (typically within 30 days)
- Aggregated/anonymized analytics that cannot reasonably be used to identify you
When deletion happens
We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. If we need additional information to verify your request, we’ll contact you at the email address provided.
