This Privacy Policy applies to the SANDIT mobile application, the connected SANDIT hardware device (e.g., via Bluetooth), and our website sandit.club.

1. INTRODUCTION
Arjodima Holding B.V. ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the SANDIT mobile application (the “App”), connect the SANDIT hardware device (e.g., via Bluetooth), and/or visit our website sandit.club (together, the “Services”).
We are established in the Netherlands and process personal data in accordance with applicable European data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
2. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect includes:
- Account & Profile Data: Information you provide when you create an account or use the Services, such as your name (or nickname), email address, and profile information (e.g., profile photo).
- Geo-Location and Sensor Data: When you use the SANDIT hardware and App, we collect granular location data (GPS coordinates, altitude, timestamp), speed, acceleration (G-force), and gyroscopic data to generate performance metrics (such as jump height, hang time, and route maps). This data is collected from your mobile device sensors and/or from the hardware device via Bluetooth/WiFi and processed to provide the core functionality of the App.
- User-Generated Content: We collect content you voluntarily upload, such as session photos, descriptions, comments, and profile pictures.
- Device & Usage Data: Information our systems automatically collect when you access the Services, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, App version, access times, and basic diagnostic/log information.
You can control certain permissions (such as Location) through your device settings and/or within the App. If you disable Location, some features (like route mapping and certain performance metrics) may not function.
3. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Services to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Process your orders and deliver products.
- Email you regarding your account or order.
- Fulfill and manage purchases, orders, payments, and other transactions.
- Generate a personal profile about you to make future visits more personalized.
- To Provide Sports Analytics: Use your location and sensor data to calculate sport-specific metrics (e.g., kite jumps, windsurfing speeds) and visualize your path on a map.
- Social Features & Leaderboards: If your session visibility is set to “Public,” your username, profile photo, session metrics, and map route may be displayed on global leaderboards and community feeds accessible to other users.
4. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including:
- Google Firebase: For backend infrastructure, authentication, analytics (if enabled), and data storage.
- Mapbox: To render interactive maps and visualize session routes.
5. SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
Account Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data (including session history and photos) at any time through the “Settings” menu within the App. Upon deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers, subject to limited retention where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., dispute resolution).

6. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
- Right to Erasure: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data (delete your account), under certain conditions. This can be done directly within the App settings.
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, in a structured, machine-readable format.
