Founder Preorder Policy
This policy explains what happens when you reserve a SANDIT founder spot through the no-charge setup checkout flow.
1. No charge today
Reserving a founder spot does not charge you immediately. Stripe saves your payment method so SANDIT can start the founder subscription later when the first batch is actually ready to ship.
2. What you authorize
By ticking the consent box and completing checkout, you authorize SANDIT to save your payment method and start the founder subscription only when your founder hardware is ready to ship. The founder subscription is EUR 6.99/month equivalent, billed yearly at EUR 83.88/year. Stripe dynamically shows eligible methods, which may include Card, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iDEAL, and PayPal where supported. If you choose iDEAL, Stripe converts that setup into a reusable SEPA Direct Debit mandate for later billing. If you choose PayPal, Stripe stores the PayPal billing agreement for later billing. SANDIT keeps an auditable record of that consent.
3. Shipping details are collected during reservation
Stripe Checkout collects your current shipping details during the founder reservation flow so your hardware can be queued correctly. If your address changes before shipping, SANDIT can send you a secure link to review or update it before billing starts.
4. Cancel before shipping
You can cancel any time before shipping begins. Your reservation email includes a secure self-serve cancellation link. If you cannot access that email, contact crew@sandit.club.
5. First-charge failures
If the first off-session charge fails or requires authentication, SANDIT will email you a secure recovery link so you can update your payment details before shipping is finalized.
6. Safety and liability
SANDIT is used in extreme water sports. These activities involve inherent risks, including serious injury or death. You participate and use the product at your own risk; SANDIT is not responsible for injuries, death, or damage arising from sport use, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
